Reducing our environmental impact by using vegan ingredients was crucial for the ethos and integrity of Trepadora. Our formulations and manufacturing processes are annually inspected by the Vegan Society whom we have been registered with since inception.

We pride ourselves on creating award-winning products without the need to test on animals. All Trepadora products are PETA approved and are Animal Test-Free. As part of our long-standing commitment to end animal testing, we will never conduct, commission, pay for or allow tests on animals at any phase of development, for both ingredients and final products.
UPCYCLED PLASTIC
Our bottles
Where available we aim to use between 30 - 100% PCR in all our bottle packaging. Using PCR (post consumer recycled) material is a way to make sure that plastics have more than one life. While all materials have their advantages and disadvantages, finding a way to use existing plastics helps close the waste loop and reduce carbon emissions. To recycle our bottles simply give a quick rinse and dispose in your regular household recycling bin.
50% SUGARCANE & 50% PCR
Our tubes
★ Sugarcane derived bio-plastic is produced from renewable biological resources. The carbon footprint is generally lower than traditional packaging because sugarcane absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere as it grows.
★ Using 50% PCR (post consumer recycled plastic) like we do in our our bottles helps to close the waste loop and reduce carbon emissions.
100% RECYCLABLE / REUSABLE
Our bottle closures
★ Our bottles come fitted with a recyclable flip top cap as standard. This is PP plastic and 100% recyclable.
★ Our reusable pump is made durable and can be used again and again each time you replenish your favourite Trepadora products. Suitable for those who enjoy the precise dosage of a pump dispenser. Pumps are currently not recyclable unless taken to a specialist centre so we encourage you to keep reusing for as long as possible then dispose in your general household waste once no longer required. We do not recommend mixing the pump in between different products. Do not rinse. Simply remove from empty bottle and insert into new.

Our cardboard packaging
The cardboard packaging we use for our Trepadora Reusable Premium Pump, Curl Reviving Kit and outer boxes we use to fulfil your order are a Kraft material which is easily recyclable.
